Yesterday my Dad's wife, my step mom calls me and tells me to sit down. Ok now I am worried who is dead right? Well my Dad's semi caught on fire as he was driving down the road. He is just fine, and all his stuff was burned! Now I am sorry that my Dad went through that, but hey don't tell people to sit down, unless someone is dead or dieing. No reason to scare people half to death.
I am sure Dad will get a new semi, new stuff, and it will a story he can tell for years to come. Maybe even laugh about it. It is a reminder that I should call my Dad, because life is too short, and what if he didn't make it out of the truck. No more scaring me half to death, I am only human not a cat. I don't have nine lives to spare. Got to love parents!!!!
Well got to get going to work soon, It's the day I take my little lady to the salon. Got to love her too!!

This is Shadow, as you all probably know, he only has one eye due to fighting with Ann. This is a picture of him, he got his hair cut last week. He was long over due, because of his injury. His energy level has increased now. He still walks without the leash, still wants to fight with Ann. they both just want to fight over me. Guess I am cool to be around. We are making the best of it. Watching them closely and trying to keep Shadow from being in Ann's spot under the table.
He still acts like the water bowl, is gonna bite him. Sometimes barks at his food, but hey he did that before his injury. Guess pure bred, don't mean ya got a brain. Got to love him.

My client went the heart doc the other day, on my day off, and tells the other co worker, that he is dieing. That his heart is beating way too fast. He has been talking about dieing for weeks now. He has paperwork, that says come back in two months. He is talking, like he will die really soon. Wants to get the bills paid, before he goes. He wasn't able to find his stamps, so I guess the bills didn't get sent out.
We are all pretty sad, but I am not sure if the doc really told him he is going to die, or because he was a doc in his time, that he is self diagnosing himself.
He was looking at his desk full of paperwork, and overwhelmed with it all, and I told him to do what I do when my purse gets too full of junk. Just throw it away, and get a new one. He says there is a lot that you got to do before you die, meaning get rid of paperwork. I didn't say anything, but screw it, if I am dead, you all can deal with it. Bye for now.

This is the last week of Summer Camp for Tyler. He doesn't understand why it has to end. Sorry Tyler but summer will end and school starts back up. He has had a good summer, not to much brain washing tv, and played outside with his friends and at the camp. It's not quite over yet though. What I wouldn't do to be a kid again. Those were the days, before I found out about house payments, and all the other money hungry people.
Well got to get ready for work, so I can send more money to the mean people. haha

I am a little sad today, about a week ago, a 13 year old boy drowned in the apartment complex that we used to live in. It turns out that the boy was a friend of Will's who had moved away, but came to visit family. The boy Johnny stayed the night with us a few different times. He was a really polite kid. When a little kid dies and you know them, it hits so much closer to home. I can't imagine one day my kid is alive and well, besides being a know it all teenager, to be dead and never to be seen again. It's really sad.
Then today's paper reported, that a eight and nine year old found a gun, and one shot the other, the eight year old was killed. So now we have a eight year old dead, and a nine year old, feeling bad because he killed his friend. Plus some really sad and angry parents. Then lets talk about the idiot who left a loaded gun outside for kids to find.
So I had a talk with Tyler if you ever find a gun, don't touch it, get a grown up for help. I told him there is no reset button. He suggested he could go get a shield, I said no you get a grown up. I should quit reading the paper, too many deaths. :(

It's been a boring lazy Saturday, not much going on. Just hanging out. I probably should take Ann for a walk. She has spent a lot of time outside, because of all the fighting, between Shadow and her. Ann looks like she is getting bigger, maybe if your lucky, you will see a up dated picture of her soon. Or if your really lucky, maybe I will post a video!! bye for now.

Today I went to Olive Garden with my friend Rachel, we sit for hours and talk. We had bread sticks, soup, and salad, and mmmmm don't forget enough soda to drive the waitress crazy.
Then I went to pick Tyler up from the camp, and there was a older man, and a younger man, singing and the kids were getting ready to the limbo. Then there was this bubble machine, it was pretty cool. The camp counselors were having a good time, I imagine they are college students, I am pretty happy, there are young adults who like doing that kind of stuff.
It's going to be another weekend without kids, I should do some cleaning, but knowing me, the Internet will win my attention.
Ann and Shadow are fighting again, the other night, Ann had him up in the air, by his back. The little dog won't learn that he can't win. He does look cute, he got his fur cut. We pay 30 bucks every few months for a hair cut for him. He gets a bath, and a trim and a cute bandanna. When I asked the salon that my client goes to how much she charges, and she said something like 20 or more, I said what are you crazy, but I do pay that for my dog. I do need a hair cut, but pay that of money, would be just crazy. I am getting a little worried, I am starting to get gray in my hair. Not very cool at all!!! :(
