Blended families suck! I am a prisoner in my own home. Because step dad and son can't get a long. I have to babysit them. 13 year old's act like they know everything. The step dad can't behave himself. I think he See's too much of the ex husband in him. So he treats him badly. Because he strongly dislikes the ex husband. He can't act his own age. Instead of trying to fix the problem, he helps create them. I also think he expects too much of him. Wants him to act like a adult,not a teenager.
